How much is too much?

It is a rare Friday night that we are at home and not on the boat.  I should be filling out a F990 for my job but I couldn’t help over hearing something interesting from the living room as I typed away.  The television is on, not loud – but strange noises for a normal TV show.  Well it is not a normal TV show or movie it is a reality show. The show is about men who keep silicone dolls and the women who love these men. Um, what?

Love Me Love My Doll

Just when I thought it couldn’t get weirder than Beverly Hills Private Chefs hosting a Doggy debutant party and “glamping” this other show comes up on cable…. maybe not having the TV on weekends or for a long stretch isn’t a bad thing.  Who actually watches this stuff?  Is it staged? Private Chefs of Beverly Hills

To me television is an escape, or at least it should be.  Reality television is like a freeway collision that you need to turn your head away to keep your sanity but that single white sheet over a body seen in your peripheral vision haunts you for a very long time.  And worse keeps you interested enough for more information.  Thank goodness I can do this rather than waste time watching it.

  1. R watches “family guy” – I can’t relate to it or the amount of time it takes to watch it. Did you know they have a “family guy star wars” edition?!
